Narrated visits between art and music at the Malatesta Temple

Also for the summer of 2024, the Diocese of Rimini proposes some interesting evening events at the Malatesta Temple between Art, Music and Philosophy, with free admission, open to citizens and tourists, with narration by art historian Michela Cesarini and musical and philosophical insights.
Wednesday 14 August, at 9 p.m., is scheduled "THE CHAPEL OF PLANETS. Science and Wisdom."
The Malatesta Temple was commissioned by Sigismondo Pandolfo in the mid-15th century as an illustrious and sacred building.
In the evening, which will be enlivened by the sound of violins, the iconographic theme of the splendid Chapel of the Planets, in which stars, constellations and zodiac signs appear. The profound links of the depictions sculpted by Agostino di Duccio with culture, art, history, religion, literature and philosophy are examined.
The evening features Michela Cesarini (Discover Rimini), art historian, and Nevio Genghini, historian of philosophy.
A cultural walk entitled 'St Francis of Assisi and the gift of the stigmata' is scheduled for Sunday, 15 September.
